Santa Fe, New Mexico – While Gene Hackman’s long business partner Dough Lanham expects responses to the mysterious death of the legendary actor, he has remained with beloved memories, including the time when the Oscar winner set a golf bet with a box full of pen.
During an interview with Fox News Digital, Dough Lanham explained that mysterious deaths have asked him by asking many questions and desires for answers. Authorities have said that Hackman and Arakawa had died for several days when they were discovered in their isolated home but did not release a cause of death.
“It is extraordinary,” Lanham told Arakawa. “Her love for animals, her love for her German shepherds, was incredible. They were the loves of her life, and that is why news from the past two days are really unclear, difficult to understand. We hope to get some answers.”

Lanham told Fox News Digital that Hackman and Arakawa were “very, very private until you knew them.”

Lanham told Fox News Digital that it is “very difficult” to narrow how Hackman will be remembered. He decided instead to show a loving memory he has from the late star.

“We actually met here at the restaurant. A mutual friend was lunching with gene and betsy, and he introduced us. He was very interested in the restaurant and food,” Lanham said.
“Betsy is a wonderful chef in itself, just an extraordinary person. So, like an idiot, I said ‘hey, we’ll cook tomorrow, would you want everyone to join us?” And they said ‘Oh yes, that would be good.’ I said, ‘Well, let’s see what happens tomorrow.’ “

“So we went down, we adapted it,” Lanham told the murals. “Gene would not come to see. We said,” Gene, this thing is great, everyone speaks of it. “Now Betsy came in, ‘Gene, it’s beautiful’. A couple of months later, he came in, glanced off, left, and that was the one in the murals.
